John has performed with great success in leading theatres, hotels, restaurants and entertainment establishments at home and abroad - often with international stars. He has also cruised on the world's luxury liners presenting his cabaret act to passengers and for 20 years has been the resident close-up magician at the fashionable Smollensky's restaurant in London's West End.

The Stage
On television he has appeared (and disappeared!) in numerous programmes and is often asked to provide technical advice to film and television companies. Credits include "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" for Stephen Spielberg and advising screenplay writer Tom Stoppard on the magic sequence in the film "Restoration". He has taught the "trade of the tricks" to many actors including Roger Moore, Jude Law and Sam Neill and when Victoria Wood wanted a magician to keep her studio audience entertained during the recording of her BBC sitcom series "Dinner Ladies", she asked John to do it.
