Excerpts of John's skills have featured in many children's (and adult) television programmes and films. He was invited back four times on BBC TV's "The Generation Game". Bruce Forsyth described John as "One of my favourite entertainers whether it be for children or adults!"

I watched him work on an audience of young and very young children mixed with a large proportion of adults. The experience was a treat and an example to any entertainer who wants to know how to talk directly to children without making their parents toes curl with embarrassment. The children had a great time - and so did I.

For many years John has been resident magician at the fashionable Smollensky's in London's West West End. He is a Gold Star member of the INNER Magic Circle and is acknowledged as being one of the country's leading exponents of the traditional Punch & Judy show. Consequently he has performed all over the world and has been interviewed by national and international newspapers, periodicals and top TV and radio chat show hosts. He has also had the pleasure of entertaining privately some of the world's most distinguished people, royal families, actors, writers, entertainers, statesmen and sports personalities.

On film you will find John entertaining Napoleon with Mr. Punch in the Monty Python inspired film 'Time Bandits' and also in Disney's "102 Dalmatian´s". John worked alongside Tom Hanks on "The Polar Express" and with Roman Polanski in his remake of Dickens´ classic "Oliver Twist", plus dozens of appearances on television, film and commercials.

"Thank you for such a splendid show - you had all the children completely enthralled. Many mothers have commented how much their children enjoyed your magic and Punch & Judy show. Thank you again for quite the best children´s entertainment I've seen."

As you will see from this brief resume, John Styles is a man of many talents. With years of experience he is as much at home entertaining small family gatherings as he is large theatre audiences.

"Styles has a very light touch; the jokes, magic and the balloon modeling all flow effortlessly, with true professionalism(IT IS THE ART THAT CONCEALS ART), and finally on this occasion, Punch & Judy appeared in a brief and bland version of the story that frightened none of the tinies and amused us all. I particularly enjoyed the jokes, which seemed original, dry and unexpected. I don't laugh aloud so much these days, but his bland throw away humor tickled me greatly and had us all making a fair noise."
